STO and CO Lifetime Subscribers Will Receive Neverwinter Beta Invites

If you're a Lifetime subscriber to Star Trek Online or Champions Online, then here's a piece of good news for you. Cryptic Studios has announced that lifetime subscribers to the two games will be receiving access to the Neverwinter Closed Beta test.

When this testing phase begins, invites will be doled out to Lifetime Subscribers over the course of the test. Since Perfect World Entertainment acquired Cryptic Studios, the long-anticipated MMOG Neverwinter was been redevelopment as an action MMO based on Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition and featured cooperative gameplay. Neverwinter will allow players to choose one of the five classic D&D (Dungeons & Dragons) classes, form a 5-member group with friends or computer-controlled characters, and create their own story and quests by means of a special content control system. Neverwinter MMO will launch in late 2012 or early 2013.
